Local Playwright Takes the Show on the Road
(PRWEB) February 2, 2006 -- After nearly twelve years of performing in Tallahassee and surrounding areas, Evangelist Delores Colston has decided to make some large bounds for the gospel stage play company, Jubilant Production Ministries (Jubilant Productions), and take the show on the road. First stop: Jacksonville, Florida.
With a mission statement like “Minister. Inspire. Praise.” – it’s no wonder Jubilant Productions would like to share their ministry nationwide.
“God has given us a vision of going beyond the panhandle. So we are packing up and heading to Jacksonville on kingdom business!” Colston proclaims. “I think it will be a great experience. We’ve pretty much stayed close to home.”
Jubilant Productions will be presenting the gospel musical play God’s Unchanging Hand: I Held On, Saturday February 11th at the historic Florida Theatre. This inspirational musical stage drama is based on the struggle of a woman to cleave unto God in the midst of the devil’s wage of warfare on her family. God’s Unchanging Hand: I Held On is the first of six gospel plays produced by Evangelist Colston.

Jacksonville is the largest metro within a 200 mile radius to Tallahassee. Jacksonville has four black mega-churches with membership exceeding 2,000 and at least twelve with 1,000 or more members. Colston and cast members have been welcomed into several area churches to speak about the play.
Gospel 1400 WZAZ The Light, the number one gospel station in Jacksonville, has embraced Jubilant Productions and joined them as their Official Media Partner for the February 11th performance. "Gospel 1400 WZAZ is elated to be the media partner with a company such as Jubilant Productions because they understand the value of not diluting the word of God from their stage plays," states Octavius Davis, Program Manager.
Colston has plans to bring the plays back to Tallahassee after touring in other Southeastern metro areas. “This is home and Tallahassee has always been such a great supporter of us. Jubilant Productions will always return to Tallahassee.”
